Poems of Protest and Solidarity
Many rousing protest rallies have taken place in Bristol since the genocide began in October 2023 and all contributors have shared their poems at these events.
In this collection there are 66 poems written by 15 poets including:
- Diz Undone (Dizraeli), Lawrence Hoo, Peter Oswald and Muneera Pilgrim
- Two of the ‘Filton 24’ group, Fatema Zainab Rajwani and Zoë Rogers, arrested under the Terrorism Act and imprisoned for fifteen months pre-trial!
- Talented young poets Zaynab Islam and Malak Reda;
- Local poets of all ages: Amber Batool, The Big Flag Guy, Megan Howell, Abbie Ring, Steve Selby, Kate Taylor and Dave Peck
All proceeds from the sale of this anthology go to support our brothers and sisters in Gaza, the victims of Israel’s genocide: The Sameer Project and The Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s Fund.
